Through the generosity of multiple endowments, we are able to partner with faculty on campus to promote and facilitate research. We provide four types of monetary awards through a competitive grant and fellowship application process.

Grants

The Humanities Center holds an annual grants competition to fund humanities-related projects that speak to the Center’s commitment to public humanities and interdisciplinary research.

Fellowships

The Humanities Center awards fellowship opportunities to both early-career and senior faculty members. Fellows pursue their proposed humanities projects while serving as active participants in the Center’s programming for a full academic year.
